Comfrey Tallow Salve
Made with Organic Comfrey & Grass-Fed Tallow
Our Comfrey Tallow Salve is handcrafted in small batches using organic comfrey leaves grown on our farm and pure grass-fed beef tallow rendered from the fat surrounding the kidneys and liver. This nourishing blend delivers a deeply moisturizing and supportive herbal salve rooted in traditional plant wisdom.
Comfrey—often called “bone knit”—has long been valued for its vitamin C, antioxidants, and natural anti-inflammatory compounds. These properties make it a popular choice for supporting the body during sprains and bruises and for soothing minor skin irritations.
Note: Comfrey should not be applied to open wounds, as it may encourage the skin to close before the area is properly cleaned.
Because comfrey contains naturally occurring alkaloids, its use can be controversial when misused. These alkaloids are most potent when consumed internally, which is why comfrey is generally recommended for external use only and with awareness. As with any new herbal product, please consult your healthcare professional if you have concerns or medical conditions.
Instructions:
Apply a small amount to the desired area as needed.
Ingredients:
Grass-fed tallow, organic comfrey, comfrey-infused oils, essential oils.
Disclaimer: It is recommended that you consult with a qualified healthcare practitioner before using herbal products, particularly if you are pregnant, nursing, on any medications or have other medical conditions.
